What data LearnRecall may process
- Account email and authentication information.
- Books, chapters, flashcards, quizzes, and study content users create or import.
- Study progress, review activity, quiz sessions, and statistics.
- App preferences such as theme settings.
- Technical information necessary for security, authentication, and app operation.
Why the data is used
- To provide the study app.
- To let users save and access their study material.
- To provide flashcards, quizzes, review progress, statistics, and Study Battle features.
- To maintain security and prevent misuse.
- To respond to support requests.
Legal basis
LearnRecall processes data to provide the service requested by the user, based on legitimate interest in maintaining security and improving basic app reliability, and based on consent where required for optional features if added later.
Cookies, localStorage, and session storage
LearnRecall currently uses necessary cookies, localStorage, and session storage for authentication, keeping users signed in, remembering theme preferences, and supporting app functionality. LearnRecall does not currently use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or analytics cookies.
Sharing data
LearnRecall does not sell user data. Data may be processed by service providers needed to run the app, such as hosting, authentication, and database providers.
Retention
Data is kept as long as needed to provide the app or until the user requests deletion, unless retention is needed for security, legal, or technical reasons.
User rights

Children
LearnRecall is not intentionally directed at children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child provided personal data, contact support.

The Privacy Policy may be updated as the app changes.
