Legal basis
Ifqah processes data to provide the service requested by the user, based on legitimate interest in maintaining security and improving basic app reliability, and based on consent where required for optional features if added later.
Optional website statistics rely on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using Cookie settings; this stops further measurement.
Cookies, localStorage, and session storage
Ifqah uses browser storage for sign-in, sessions and app preferences. Heimdall additionally stores your consent choice and, only with statistics consent, a random browser identifier bound to that consent, a measurement session and a temporary delivery queue. Declining statistics does not prevent you from studying.
Optional website statistics
We also measure visible, focused time, 90% page scrolls, outbound and download clicks, and form submission attempts. Only fixed event names and time are sent, never destination URLs, labels or form fields. Ifqah uses Heimdall for optional website statistics only after you allow Statistics in Cookie settings. We measure general page types and successfully saved study sessions without sending account or book identifiers, titles, answers, search terms, or the contents of your study material. No advertising cookies or marketing pixels are added by this integration. You can decline statistics or withdraw your consent at any time using Cookie settings.
Sharing data
Ifqah does not sell user data. Data may be processed by service providers needed to run the app, such as hosting, authentication, and database providers.
Retention
Data is kept as long as needed to provide the app or until the user requests deletion, unless retention is needed for security, legal, or technical reasons.
User rights
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. For privacy requests, contact support@ifqah.com.
Children
Ifqah is not intentionally directed at children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child provided personal data, contact support.
Changes
The Privacy Policy may be updated as the app changes.
